Blessed with the talent to provide excitement wherever he goes, Rory is a icon in the sound system business. Since 1984, he has had a wealth of experience including playing throughout the world. After 15 years with Stone Love, there is a place reserved for Rory in the pages of dancehall history. Known for consistently pleasing audiences with his selections, his versatility and musical knowledge, Rory is also renowned for his sharp sense of humour.

A native son of London England, he practically grew up around and in the dance-halls of

Kingston after migrating in 1976 and began honing his skills as a selector after leaving Calabar High School. It was then that Rory, Wee-Pow and Cancer began the arduous climb to establish Stone Love as a force within the dance-hall. With a natural skill around the turntables and with the microphone, Rory is one of the pillars behind Stone Love’s outstanding success.

While talent around the turntables distinguish Rory from most selectors it is his personal style and charm which ensures that an event featuring him is a total experience. Who can forget Rory’s bleached blond hair in the early 90’s, a style that has become common place now but was then on the cutting edge of fashion in the United States!

Constantly on tour, spreading Stone Love’s music throughout the world, Rory enjoys playing pool, movies and the occasional evening at home. Stone Love has taken Rory throughout Europe including much of England, France and Germany, he has traveled extensively through the Caribbean, Canada and the United States. A recent highlight for Stone Love’s ace selector was being selected as thefeatured entertainment at both the After-Parties for the Lewis-Holyfield fights.
