Delta Supply Company Limited was founded in 1973 by it’s Chairman, George Swire. The Company was originally located at 110 Hagley Park Road, and subsequently relocated to 104½ Hagley Park Road. Delta originally specialized in only welding supplies, mechanical seals, safety supplies, and belts. In 1982 Delta expanded its facilities to its current locationn at 106 Hagley Park Road, using the building on 104½ as the service and repairs department. In 1986 adjoining premises were acquired, and in 1995 a major expansion was done to encompass all three adjoining premises.

Today the Company has considerably expanded both the categories of equipment supplied and its facilities. It’s newly refurbished premises now boast a more spacius parking area, fully equipped service department, and extended showroom area. This expansion coincides with the fact that over the years Delta has grown and continues to attract international partners/suppliers. Today, while welding supplies remains the major category of it’s inventory, the Company now distributes over eighteen (18) categories of equipment, representing some 43 intrnational suppliers. Consequently, over the past 25 year, Delta Supply has come to be recognized as Jamaica’s leading provider of the world’s premier brands of industrial equipment and supplies. |
